I’ve been on a number of these weeklong boat cruises and just wanted to say that Maya and Doyle were the best crew that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and sailing with. Both were so communicative, responsive, and most importantly just fun to be around. Maya’s culinary skills were top notch. Could have eaten her crab cakes all 6 days. Doyle’s local knowledge and instruction was excellent. I’m not big on writing reviews but just wanted to pass this along.

Doyle and Maya Thank you so much for making our first all inclusive trip the most amazing. Although not new to the islands, you both gave us a 5 star experience we will never forget. No detail was spared and fun was had by all. The food was exquisite and better than we could have ever ordered on shore. We are all truly sad to leave and consider you both now part of our friend group!

What a week of sailing with the legend himself, a cowboy at heart and a mystery in his own book. Doyle the one I would pick for my team any day. Also a big thank you to Chef and Maya for preparing great meals. Next time I might let you win a game, Maya. Thanks for a wonderful time and you two are welcome to come visit my world any time. Thanks Again from the cowboy captain, “Beaver,” from South Dakota and his wife Michelle.

Words cannot describe the experience we have had Nae Kae over New Years. We love our time with you both and the special attention to detail you both put in was more than we could have ever imagined. Maya, your recipes were so well thought out and all included such special touches. There was nothing we would have changed. We so appreciate your attention to special/individual dietary needs and requests. You really have a special talent for cuisine! Doyle has truly exceeded our expectations of a captain. Not only super capable and open to any itineraries but safe and proud of his boat and the comfort of his guests. Doyle, we had such a great time listening to your singing and guitar playing on our last night. It’s good to know you have a back up career thank you so much for making us all the most memorable trip ever!

Captain Doyle and Chef Maya what a week you gave us! Between the hospitality that you gave us all and the amazing views I do not know what else I could’ve asked for on this vacation. The two of you fit in so well with our group – if we had any other crew the vibe of the whole trip would have been totally different – glad we had you two! Doyle’s knowledge and sharing of life experience was very appreciated – Maya’s food would never disappoint and I’m excited to try to make some of her meals back home. Until our next charter!

Doyle and Maya, thank you guys very much for an amazing experience! The food was delicious and unique, it got us out of our comfort zone of hot dishes for every meal :) I cannot believe how fast the week went and will be wishing I was lying out in 80° weather as we sail off to the next island-especially when we return to whatever blizzard we missed. I will never forget this trip and you two truly did an outstanding job at making sure everyone was enjoying themselves! Take care and hopefully see you guys again.

What an amazing trip!!! I wouldn’t change a thing about this vacation. You get a very relaxing time with the best views and fantastic food. The experience I had on this trip will be a wonderful memory that will be in my mind forever. Doyle and Maya quickly became more than a crew but actually part of our group. So much fun!!! You will always have friends in South Dakota. Look us up if you were ever in the area. Thank you so much.

Chef Maya and Captain Doyle- thank you the trip of a lifetime! Everything has been perfect! The food has been fantastic! That key lime pie was to die for and I appreciate you taking my dietary restrictions into account and modifying things as needed! Such a relaxing time and an awesome mix of time on and off the boat. It’s hard to believe places like the Virgin Islands exist without seeing them with your own eyes! Sad to go back home tomorrow! Hope to sail with you both again and hope somehow our paths can cross in the future bye for now… ♥️

NAE KAE Maiden Voyage: Absolutely best boat, best place, best crew! Doyle and Maya took my family for a cruise of the BVI’s and what a wonderful trip we had. Capt. Doyle demonstrated sound knowledge of the BVI waters and special spots to hang out. Also, safety was a constant component of all we did. The boat is brand new; we were the maiden cruise. She is well designed for taking a family or friends on this type of trek on the water. It has plenty of space, nice toys for the kids and adults. As for Maya she is an outstanding chef. The food she prepared was very tasty made from natural ingredients, making it fantastic. Pretty much everything she prepared was from scratch like homemade hamburger buns and homemade Pasta. We trolled lures off boat while underway and brought two beautiful Mahi Mahi’s aboard which were delicious. She also made unique cocktails, but if she offers to play cards with you be slightly cautious (lol)! We learned that Capt. Doyle is an accomplished musician, so we got a few songs played and sang for us one evening, it was very magical. He is outstanding! Overall, our family had a wonderful time and we would definitely do it again.
