Oui Cherie is a remarkably spacious Lagoon 52F sailing yacht, renowned for its luxurious cabins and excellent sailing performance. The 52F is Lagoon’s high-end model, perfectly combining comfort and capability. Its accommodations are designed to offer both adventure and satisfaction. Oui Cherie features three exceptionally roomy queen staterooms, including a stunning VIP cabin. Each guest cabin has its own private ensuite bathroom with a separate shower. She provides an exceptional amount of space, both above and below deck, making it suitable for various groups of people looking for a getaway: families, friends, coworkers, children, couples, and more. Onboard, there are ample areas for entertainment and relaxation. The flybridge is where the helm and sailing functions meet a large convertible settee, offering the best spot to enjoy the views while sailing or stargazing. The forward cockpit lounge is a perfect place to have morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The aft cockpit is where exquisite meals are served, and chaise lounges are placed throughout the yacht. The main salon houses an open-concept galley, a spacious sofa-chaise, and a flat-screen TV. Guests aboard Oui Cherie have their expectations constantly exceeded!

MEET YOUR CREW

Matt Talmage

Matt was born in the UK and learnt to sail along the UK coast with many trips to France and the UK Channel Islands before getting the break to become a charter captain around the Greek Islands. After a few seasons there he returned to the UK but by then he had been spoiled with sailing in warmer waters and the colder UK weather didn’t cut it! In 2016 he found an opportunity to work in the BVI as a captain and sailing instructor so he jumped at the chance! When Covid hit he took a yacht delivery job up to Florida where he met his beautiful wife and they have since settled back down in the Islands together. Matt holds a RYA Yachtmaster as well as USCG credentials. In his spare time he enjoys diving for lobster and relaxing on the beach.

Jana Talmage

Jana is originally from Florida´s East coast and grew up alongside the water and beautiful beaches. She trained as a Master Stylist and worked for 18 years as a hair stylist in the Orlando area before meeting her husband Matt by chance when a restaurant only had shared tables available for lunch! After getting married on one of St John´s beaches they decided to move to St Thomas at the end of 2021 and have worked together as a team on boats delivering fantastic food and service. Last summer Matt & Jana ran a few charters in Greece and the Mediterranean style has inspired her menu and dishes. In her spare time Jana loves to walk along the beaches on the lookout to increase her sea glass collection.

Matt and Jana, although it is tempting to give top billing to the enchanting chef/first mate Jana, it is the seamless manning that Capt. Matt performs the operation of the vessel that makes this extraordinary experience just that - extraordinary. The series of excursions and diversions makes 7 days seem twice as long. The dining from breakfast to dinner, desserts is a deeply memorable series of delights. It would be difficult to imaging two more delightful souls to guide and pamper their guests through an utterly unforgettable experience. Thank you so much!
